Our Standards
Our Process
​
We follow the highest standards in the making of all of our products. Our soap and lotions begin with the goat milk we collect from our own herd here on the farm. The milk is blended with essential oils and botanicals like lavender and blueberry seeds to make an all natural product without detergents or chemicals. All of our products are all made by hand in small batches and are paraben and formaldehyde free.
Our Animals
​
​Our animals are some of the happiest on earth because not only do they receive tons of love and attention, they get to roam free and live in open wooded land where they can run, jump, play, and discover what's hiding under the tree stumps. They snack on things like grass, acorns, and bugs in addition to the organic grain we feed them daily - which makes for a very healthy diet.
Environmental impact
​
Blue Tin Farm is aware of the carbon footprint that we leave behind and the impact waste has on our environment. We do the best we can to reduce waste produced by the farm. Actually, most of our waste from the farm is added to our two composting piles from which we feed our gardens in the summer. We rotate our animals to effectively turn over the land in order for new growth to come through. This provides more fresh grass for the animals to graze on without the use of harsh pesticides and chemicals.
